i've watched the news just now.
saddam hussien former president of iraq will be sentence to death.
and its like after locking him up for so long and finally the verdict was announced.

i found out that true enough, i don't care about the news at all.
only now then i know why saddam is sentenced.

Iraq's High Tribunal on Sunday found Saddam Hussein guilty of crimes against humanity and sentenced him to hang for the 1982 killing of 148 Shiites in the city of Dujail.

this source was taken from NBC news.

look at the year! 1982!
i'm not even born.
sometimes i just don't find justice in law to let this kind of people to live 24 years extra.

'The verdict says Saddam must pay the price for murdering tens of thousands of Iraqis'
this is another line taken from the news.
i didn't know that saddam hussien is so deadly.

but why? why can he live for an extra 24 years before he is sentence?
are they saying that law is not that effective in the past?
and whats more?
he is a president of iraq formerly.

i've found 2 lines from NBC news interesting.

-Al-Moussawi said Saddam would be hanged if the sentence were upheld, despite his demand that he be shot by a firing squad.
(weird huh? isn't it more ugly to die under those gunshots?)

-After the verdict was read, a trembling Saddam yelled out, "Long live the people, and death to their enemies. Long live the glorious nation, and death to its enemies!"
(he got the mood to cheer. this shows that he is well prepared to die.)
